The Department of Physics at FIU invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position for conducting innovative research at the interface of ultrafast spectroscopy, quantum materials, and quantum information science, under the supervision of Professor Hebin Li. The position will begin in Fall 2023.
Important qualifications include a Ph.D. degree in experimental AMO or condensed matter physics. The candidates are expected to have experimental research experience on one or more of these topics: ultrafast spectroscopy, laser spectroscopy, quantum optics, color centers in solids, quantum materials, and/or quantum information science.
The appointment is expected to begin in Fall 2023. The term of the appointment is one year, renewable for up to four years. The position will have a competitive stipend and research/travel budget.
