Senior Business Intelligence Engineer

What you will need to do to succeed:

Dimensional data modeling including proficiency with RDBMS, Kimball Methodologies such as star-schema and other data warehousing concepts. ETL experience with large (100GB+, 1M+ Rows) databases. Technical abilities in deploying N-Tiered, web enabled, data warehousing / decision support systems. Ability to develop tabular models in Power BI, /SSDT/Visual Studio or Tabular Editor

Strong ability to leverage Advanced TSQL, Visual Studio, SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT), Excel Power Pivot/Query. Technical experience in data warehouse migration from on prem to Azure cloud

Education & Experience Requirements: 

  • BA in Management Information Systems (MIS) or BS in Computer Science, or equivalent, relevant experience required. MA preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in related position and 5 year advanced experience with Microsoft SQL Reporting Services/Azure Cloud technology is required.
  • At least 5 years’ experience working with Microsoft SQL Reporting Services, Azure cloud (ADF, Synapse, ADLS) or equivalent.

Compensation includes: Competitive salary, commission on new sales, annual discretionary bonus, defined contribution retirement plan with additional company match, and paid-time-off plan beginning at 31 days per year.
