Purpose of the role

  • To ensure implementation, procedural compliance, and continuous improvement of ISO 9001:2015 compliant Quality Management System
  • Monitoring and continuous quality improvement of operational processes and products
  • Administration of QMS processes for site (data collection, auditing, documentation management, shipment release inspections)

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate QMS implementation, ensuring conformance to customer and regulatory requirements:
  • Monitoring and analyzing quality performance
  • Administer the Document Management system
  • Administer the Issue Management system
  • Administer change control
  • Document creation and maintenance
  • Conduct internal audits
  • Assume responsibility of ISO-defined Site Management Representative; Lead certification and customer audit activities
  • Support problem root-cause analysis (8D format) for both external and internal issues
  • Involved in finished goods inspection when non-conformances are identified
  • Quality support for new product introduction (product Traveler generation)
  • Continuous Data Analysis support (internal, customer, supplier)
  • Administration and reporting of QMS-defined procedures
  • Oversee any RMA activities to ensure problem resolution and high customer satisfaction
  • Drive continuous quality improvement in operational processes and products
  • Define, implement, and communicate quality performance metrics throughout organization
  • Coach employees in the effective use of quality tools
  • Ensure procedures in use are accurate and efficient
  • Lead problem analysis and resolution efforts with production team

Requirements

  • Degree in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach
  • Experience authoring/managing technical documentation for production control
  • Experience working as an effective team member in Production environment
  • Experience with projects; successful Project Management role is a plus
  • Highly self-motivated; proven ability to work independently
  • Excellent facilitation skills
  • Six sigma and auditing training & experience preferred (not mandatory)
  • Knowledge of Quality Improvement, Control, and Assurance
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015
  • Knowledge of Advanced Quality tools
  • Knowledge of root cause analysis and continuous improvement tools
  • Working knowledge of 8D methodology
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of Data Analysis tools
  • Knowledge of Semiconductor manufacturing processes
  • Some travel may be expected
