What you’ll do:
You will be a technical leader in the Component Quality and
Technology team within Supply Chain Operations, who will partner with Cisco’s IC
design engineers in the Transceiver Module Group, silicon fabs, test equipment
vendors and other Cisco Supply Chain teams to develop leading edge characterization
and production test solutions on Cisco’s suite of silicon photonic integrated
circuits.
You have expert knowledge in the design and measurement of
OWAT (optical wafer acceptance test) and EWAT (electrical wafer acceptance
test) structures and parameters that need to be tested to verify known good
silicon. You will produce optical and electrical test parameter specifications
based on prototype data collection and analysis of the tested structures. You will specify and write test programs to
capture this data, and automate the data analysis.
You have excellent knowledge of test equipment integration,
and are able to write libraries to support the automated test of the
integrations. You will have hands on experience in optical wafer level probing including
integration and alignment of optical and electrical probes to perform the test
measurement capabilities. You have knowledge in optical waveguide and test
structure design, DFT, coupling structure design and optical measurements of
waveguides and other optical structures.
Your
scope includes defining characterization plans and generate characterization
reports, defining production screening guard-band specifications based upon
design intent and characterization results, and transferring new products into full
manufacturing release by collaborating with offshore manufacturing personnel. You
should also have the capability to write or revise test programs on 93000 test
platform and other platforms as needed. Your additional responsibilities
include manufacturing sustaining support on Cisco’s photonics integrated
circuits.
You must have proven ability to perform
statistical data/yield/correlation analysis on large data sets from wafer sort
to system final test to find yield issues and apply root cause corrective
actions to design and test teams. Your role will also be to drive component failure analysis at
the die or module, containments, and root cause corrective actions interfacing
with development/manufacturing engineering and management to resolve complex
technical problems.
Who you’ll work
with:
You will be part of a team providing innovative
opto-electrical test solutions for Silicon Photonics platform at Cisco. You
will collaborate with and lead test implementation at optical wafer fabs and
OSATs (out-sourced assembly and testing). You will liaise with IC design teams
to ensure suitable test structures are incorporated in the designs to verify
production silicon. You will further
collaborate with IC designers, module and system hardware teams on integrated
circuit verification and performance, and identifying and implementing
corrective action on both new and mature products and technologies.
