Job Description

The primary job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: * Work with a group of experts from various disciplines on next generation Silicon Photonics and provide state of the art solutions for optical connections from SiPh devices to SM fibers* Convert the above concept to high volume products. Assess and mitigate risks associated with the product designs.* Lead and drive development of optical alignment system and test method to validate the design.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
PhD degree in physics, EE or related engineering field and 4+ years of working experience in the optics of Si-photonics or related industry

Hands-on experience and knowledge with optical alignment and optical testing.

Prior SM-fiber optical coupling design and development experience with SiPh is highly desirable. Inside this Business Group
