Our client is a global photonics company looking for a proactive Sales Assistant for their San Jose, CA location. This client has a number of great relationships with well-known companies with in semiconductor, industrial manufacturing, and other relevant industries. They would like someone who is highly customer service focused with a high attention to detail/service requests. This position is a contract to hire opportunity with room for advancement.

Duties and Responsibilities:
– Provide a high level of customer service for active clients which includes providing pricing information, delivery schedules, and entering order information into company ERP System
– Coordinate a high volume of quoting information for sales engineers and representatives within the organization
– Enter, track, process, and create 80 quotes per month
– Build/maintain active relationships with internal departments such as; Engineering, Customer Service, Manufacturing, and Sales
– Set up and provide customer support during entire production phase of product requests
– Quote/estimate pricing based on product requirements/difficulty
– Actively seek information on customized products to support with basic technical issues
– Proactively follow through on customer requests for information

Working hours: 9am-5pm Mon-Fri (Company compensates for 8 hours daily)

-Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
-1-3+ years in sales support/B2B customer service role preferred
-Experience with known ERP system preferred (For Example; SAP, Oracle, MAS 90, Great Plains, etc.)

-Permanent Opportunity
-Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm (7 hours per day, however, company compensates for 8 hours daily)
-$22-$25/hr based on experience (Hourly)
