Our technology is used to create virtual prototypes of components and complete systems before they are realized in hardware, saving time and money in testing. Customers use our powerful software CST STUDIO SUITE for wide ranging design challenges in the areas of Microwave and RF systems, Antennas and Propagation, Radars, Optical Components and Photonics, Signal and Power Integrity, Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), Bio-EM and MRI systems, Low Frequency Sensors and Power Systems, Charged Particle Dynamics, and Multi-Physics (Thermal and Mechanical) issues associated with Electromagnetic applications.
CST of America has been established for nearly 25 years, and is an energetic, rapidly growing team, responsible for the technical support, promotion and growth of CST’s software across North America. From offices in Massachusetts and California, we work with some of the most innovative companies in the world and our tools help them deal with high visibility issues such as electromagnetic interference in automotive systems, and prediction of the SAR (Specific Absorption Rate) related to the electromagnetic radiation from cell phones.
We are seeking an Engineer with a minimum of a Master’s Degree in Electrical, Electronic or Communications Engineering, or Physics. You should have a strong desire to work in the simulation of advanced technology. Successful applicants will work on simulating a large variety of electromagnetic components and systems. Primary tasks will include working directly with existing and potential customers including application support, technical presentations, benchmark studies and technical support. Other tasks may include testing new releases and submitting new feature requests, developing and presenting training material, creating and presenting workshop and webinar material, consulting projects, authoring white papers and application notes, and attending conferences and exhibitions nationwide.
Minimum of Master’s Degree in Electrical, Electronic or Communications Engineering, or Physics, with experience in electromagnetic simulation. Interest in and knowledge of the theory of electromagnetic fields and applications
Knowledge of numerical methods applied to electromagnetic field simulation
Good interpersonal communication skills are essential
Willing and able to work at CST of America’s office location
Willing to travel to visit customers and attend various events
