Veeco is looking for a Marketing Intern who will work full time during the summer and part-time during the school year. This role is located in Somerset, New Jersey and supports the marketing team based at this location.
Work under the supervision of the Marketing Research Director to develop a comprehensive study in the Photonics and/or RF (Radio Frequency) market segment Perform primary market research to size the end devices for all applications serving the Photonics markets, examples include data centers, consumer and mobile electronics, Internet of Things, autonomous vehicles etc Partner with key account managers and sales to map out customers installed base and production utilization Partner with Product Marketing managers and engineers to understand MOCVD equipment functionality and value proposition to customers in the Photonics segment Develop assumptions for demand and supply model to quantify the MOCVD equipment TAM for the market Periodic update of progress to the marketing team on research project Prepare daily market update materials through keyword search in all MOCVD market segments and disseminate to the team Assist in marketing communication and presentation preparation for special projects Work on financial analysis to quantify ROI for products and value proposition for customers Interact with 3 rd parties analyst to validate market research assumptions and learn about market trend is different market segments Track competitors and provide write up for different market segments Participate in marketing activities and assist in preparation for customer meetings including taking meeting minutes
Must be enrolled in a college degree program (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Business Administration
