Sales Administrator | Hardin Optical Company

This position is responsible for maintaining customer relationships, ensuring excellent customer communications, responding to customer inquiries and on-time delivery of products.

2. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – • Maintain and update an accurate and complete quote log. o Coordinate quote activities to assure timely submittal of quotes to the customer o Track and coordinate follow up communications after quotes are submitted. • Lead effective communication between customer and HOC cross functional Teams to assure that customer satisfaction is maximized. • Assemble shipping data and information and send to customers with shipments. • Filter all customer inquiries to the appropriate HOC resource. Track and follow up on inquiries. • Monitor cross functional activities on all open customer orders on a daily-basis to ensure on-time delivery. • Maintains an active customer action items list. Coordinates cross functional communications to complete action items in a timely manner. • Coordinates the entire contract review process to ensure all required documentation and records are organized and maintained in the required format in a timely manner. • Attends cross functional meetings and communicates with HOC Team to ensure customer requests are met as well as ensuring on-time delivery. • Maintains monthly sales forecast spread sheet. Updates spread sheet based on Sr. Management inputs. • Coordinates the customer survey and customer scorecard process. • Coordinates and assists in assigned business development activities to include marketing and advertising efforts. • Coordinates Trade Show planning and activities including completing all registrations and coordinating shipping of Company booth and other necessary items. • Responsible to implement, promote, review, and continually improve the effectiveness of the Quality Management System.
