This position will join our solar simulator manufacturing group. Position will be responsible for the setup, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies. Determine and may develop test specifications and procedures from drawings and diagrams. Will test and troubleshoot assemblies and / or final systems. May complete re-work based on results of testing. Prepare, as needed, technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.
Requires soldering skills and a mechanical aptitude. An Associate’s degree, military technical training or equivalent vocational training is required. Minimum of 1-2 years of manufacturing experience. Photovoltaic experience preferred. This position is located in Bozeman, MT.
