Duties will includeday-to-day process sustaining, continuous improvement, and support ofdevelopment team. The candidate shouldwork independently with minimal supervision and as a member of a team forlarger projects. Should have excellentproblem solving skills and have an analytical approach to tasks as well as theability to communicate (written and verbal) results effectively. SPC, DOE, six sigma and 5S are a plus
The successful candidate willhave experience in lens alignment and attachment for collimation of diode laserbars as well as testing high power optical devices. The candidate should be comfortable with testequipment such as power meters, integrating sphere, current sources, voltagemeasurements, spectrum analyzers, near/far field measurement, etc.
3+years hands on experience in a diode laser manufacturing environment.
B.Sor M.S. in engineering with 3+ years relevant industrial experience
