Bachelor’s Degree preferred/minimum of Associate Degree in an engineering discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Should have knowledge of engineering design/manufacturing/operations software.
Able to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
Able to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Able to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Able to read and interpret blueprints and have a basic knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
Experience in optics industry strongly preferred.
