Our client develops and manufactures components and sub-systems for diverse markets like automotive, defense, medical, industrial sensing and telecommunications. These high performance, high reliability products integrate complex functionality in order to meet challenging and technology leading customer requirements. Some of their products and technologies include electro-optics, LiDAR systems, photonics, cameras, automotive navigation systems, 3D imaging, sensors, image processing, laser diodes, etc.
Software Engineers – multiple openings at intermediate and senior levels.
We are recruiting for a variety of software and firmware engineers to program and develop DSP, video processing, image processing, etc. on FPGA’s ( Altera and Xilinx) MATLAB simulation, C, C++.
Other software openings include developing image processing algorithms for signal extraction and target identification. Development of software (C, C++, MATLAB) and firmware, device drivers, API, hardware interfaces, GUIs. Knowledge of communication and vision protocols.
In addition to these openings, we are also recruiting for:
Computer Vision Engineers;
Hardware Design Engineers with FPGAs, VHDL, etc.;
Mechanical Engineers to perform sensor integration into the automotive ecosystem;
Systems Engineers with automotive industry knowledge;
Optoelectronics Packaging Engineer.
Related experience required. Of particular interest is autonomous driving systems, LiDAR, digital signal processing, remote sensing and detection, mapping, imaging, vision systems, computer vision, machine learning, robotics, object recognition, autonomous navigation and automotive electronics, artificial intelligence, etc..
BS degree in a technical discipline (EE, CS, CE, etc.) MS or PhD preferred
5+ years related experience
Embedded firmware development experience
Knowledge of Ethernet, USB, etc. communication and vision protocols
Experience with image recognition, signal processing, computer vision, AI, machine learning, or robotics greatly desired. Automotive or autonomous vehicle experience a big plus.
