Technical Sales Supervisor

By providing critical pre- and post sales suport the TSE relays key insight into the customer’s application to both the internal product managment and external field sales teams.

Inside Sales Supervisor will manage both pre-sale and post-sale inside sales engineering team and support activities including assessment of how company products meet customer needs and the preparation of complex scientific and technical products/applications/solutions. Supervisor will be responsible for providing technical product support via phone, chat and email pre- and post-sales.

This role is for a working supervisor therefore will be responsible for accurately and comprehensively qualifying inbound and outbound phone calls, internet leads, cross and up-selling and processing leads with the other Call Center sites and Field Sales Team. Will also be responsible for doing quote follow ups and supporting RSMs as an inside sales resource.

Position requires an energetic, upbeat team player that can communicate effectively and persuasive to both internal and external customers to include marketing, product managers and development engineering to define new products and provide technical insight. Acts as mentor to direct reports to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems. The right person for this position must be organized, disciplined, able to work at a quick pace, able to multi-task and be self-sufficient in carrying out his/her job responsibilities.
